What is recorded here
In level area of gentle WSW-facing pasture. A slightly raised rectangular area (dims. 36m N-S; 48m E-W) defined by sub-surface land drains to the E and S and by an open drain/stream 8-10m to N encloses the church (TS069-069001-). This area correlates to the enclosure, with rounded corners, depicted on the 1906 ed. OS 6-inch map which is drawn as a bank enclosing the church on all but the E side.
