Grave Yd. is a rectangular Clonbough graveyard holding the buried foundations of an old church and generations of local dead. Its drystone wall and gateway mark a place where worship, loss and memory still touch the earth. The church is gone except fragments, but the graves and enclosure keep its shape alive.

Located within an ecclesiastical enclosure (CL018-024001-). Described as ‘the site of an old Church and burying ground called Cill-Tonachta’ by O’ Donovan (Comber 1997, 90). This roughly rectangular graveyard (31.5m E-W; 20.5m N-S) is defined by a drystone wall (H 1m). Access is gained through a gateway towards the S end of the W wall. The fragmentary remains of the foundations of the E and S walls of a church (CL018-024002-) are centrally located within it. A number of graves are marked by uninscribed upright stones but most are modern 19th and 20th-century graves. Some architectural fragments from the church, including a corbel stone, a window sill stone, a jambstone and dressed stone, are visible within it (Large 2010, 152-4).
