Grave Yard in County Cork is a trapezoidal graveyard enclosed by a stone wall erected in 1783 by Fr. Randal Hurley. It occupies the lost site of the ancient parish church of Clontead, which was almost in ruins by 1615. The place remains in occasional use, holding dead and memory beneath an ordinary Cork sky.

Approached by short passage from road to S; trapezoidal graveyard (c. 60m E-W; c. 40m N-S) enclosed by stone wall erected in 1783 by Fr. Randal Hurley according to Latin inscription on gate pier (O'Donoghue 1986, 166; see also CO112-01301- & CO112-04201-); In occasional use. Site of ancient parish church of Clontead, which was 'almost in ruins' by 1615 (Brady 1863, vol. 1, 354) and marked 'site of' on 1842 OS 6-inch map; no visible surface trace.
