What is recorded here
Grave Yard is a graveyard in County Clare, Ireland. It is not clear when people first buried their dead there or whose bones lie beneath the soil. The name gives no hint about the lives lost or the hands that dug the holes. What is known is that the place exists and that death once belonged to it.
The Archaeological Survey of Ireland (ASI) is in the process of providing information on all monuments on The Historic Environment Viewer (HEV).
