Grave Yard is a graveyard in Kilnamanagh (frenchpark By.), County Roscommon, Ireland. It adjoins the eastern foundation of the parish church listed as Killinamanach in the 1306 ecclesiastical taxation of Elphin. The rectangular graveyard extends southward from the church wall on a low ridge.
The parish church of Kilnamanagh, listed as Killinamanach in the ecclesiastical taxation of Elphin in 1306 (Cal. doc. Ire., vol. 5, 224), is situated on a low E-W ridge. The E conserved foundation (L 7m; Wth 0.7m) of the church (RO009-056001-) abuts the N wall of the rectangular graveyard (dims 50m WNW-ESE; 19.4m NNE-SSE) which has been extended (dims c. 35m E-W; c. 20m N-S) to the S. Medieval parish church and graveyard; dates to at least the early 14th century. Its foundation stones and historical mention in ecclesiastical records highlight its role in the religious and community life of the Kilnamanagh parish during the medieval period.
