Medieval parish church (WM013-057----) dedicated to St. Lonán whose feast day fell on the 12th of November (Ó Riain 2011, 403). The medieval parish church and graveyard may have been built on the site of an early Christian monastery founded by St. Lonán.
Situated on elevated grassland with good views of the surrounding countryside, poorly drained reclaimed land surrounding the graveyard. Stream located 75m to W, tower house (WM013-059----) 630m to E, motte castle (WM013-058----) 320m to SSW. An oval shaped graveyard (approx. diam. 47m NW-SE; 81m NE-SW) heavily planted with ornamental bushes and conifers that is enclosed by a post-1700 stone wall, with gateway and stone stile at SW. The ruins of the medieval parish church (WM013-057---) of Killulagh stands in the SW quadrant. The shaft of a medieval font (WM013-057003-) and a bullaun stone (WM013-057004-) are located immediately inside graveyard gateway. The graveyard contains a large number of gravestones dating from the eighteenth to twentieth centuries and is criss-crossed with several pathways lined with low stones. The bowl of the medieval font has been moved from the graveyard to the R.C. church located 240m to SSE.
