On shore of Roaringwater Bay. Subrectangular area enclosed by ruinous stone wall. Lines of low, uninscribed marker stones; earliest headstones noted date to 1860's; some chest tombs. Contains ruins of Kilcoe Church (CO140-033002-). The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 1: West Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1992). A 19th-century graveyard associated with the ruins of Kilcoe Church; significance lies in its historical and ecclesiastical context within the Roaringwater Bay area.
