What is recorded here

Located towards the top of the E and S-facing slope of a drumlin. The parish church of Killinkere is conserved within a subcircular graveyard (dims c. 52m E-W; c. 42m N-S) defined by a drystone wall which is replaced by a masonry wall where it borders a farm lane S-W. The graveyard has headstones dating from c. 1720 to c. 1960 including a fine collection of eighteenth century slate headstones.

Killinkere BridgeBridge · 893 yd

Explorer Tom Killinkere Bridge in Corratinner has arches that argue with each other. One side is cut stone, the other is rubble nonsense. End this one by winking at the weirder arch.

Stramaquerty BridgeBridge · 1553 yd

Explorer Tom Stramaquerty Bridge is showing off its three arches like it’s a catwalk model. The cutwaters are vertical, which is a very specific flex for a bridge. Practice your best 'oh wow' face for me when you see it.

Windmill in Enagh (crossbane Ed)Windmill · 2.5 mi

Explorer Tom Windmill in Enagh has lost its top and would spend a lotto win on a very expensive hat to hide that fact. It’s pretending not to be broken down. Ideal place to rehearse an excuse for being late.

Grave YardGraveyard · 3.0 mi

Explorer Tom Graveyard in Raffony is guarding its secrets so tightly it's practically sweating. There are church ruins hiding in there, and if you're lucky, you might spot a ghost having a bad hair day. If it's closed, admire it from the road like a polite stalker.

European Yew3.5 mi

Explorer Tom European Yew in County Cavan got the Vikings completely lost looking for it; they ended up in France by accident. It’s that kind of confusing presence. Make up your own legend and I'll swear it's true, because who has the energy to fact-check a tree?
