The medieval church ruins (LI012-070002-) of Cloonanna stands in centre of graveyard which consists of a roughly square-shaped area (approx. dims. 50m N-S x 53m E-W) enclosed by post-1700 stone wall with entrance gate at NE.

Medieval Christian graveyard associated with the ruins of a church at Cloonanna, dating to the late medieval period. Its significance lies in its association with local ecclesiastical history and the preservation of a long-used burial site within a defined walled enclosure.
