What is recorded here
Detached three-bay two-storey former country house, built c.1830, with canted bay to south elevation, pair of canted bays to north elevation and three-bay two-storey annex to rear. Now in use as private house. Hipped slate roof with rendered chimneystacks. Four-bay two-storey outbuilding to rear in yard. Southern approach to house lined with trees and shrubs and is consistent with earlier maps.
A fine house which retains much of its original character and fabric intact. Its related outbuildings, gate lodge and entrance add to its setting and context.
This does not grant access. Most recorded buildings are privately owned; view them only from public ground unless the owner allows entry.
