Freestanding bronze statue, erected in 1966, representing a dancing girl. Mounted on square-profile pedestal of cut limestone. Located in Fitzgerald Park.
A fine sculpture created by Oisin Kelly, who also produced the iconic statue outside County Hall. It is noteworthy not only for its artistic quality but also for the technical skill that went into its casting. It forms part of a group with other pieces of public art in the park.
