Detached three-bay single-storey gable-fronted limestone Carnegie Free library, opened 1912.ROOF: Double pitchd slate roof with decorative terracotta ridge tiles, yellow brick chimney stack to rear gable. WALLS: Rock faced snecked limestone with nap rendered quoins, plinth and coping on gable with finials; nap rendered plinth course with ventilation grille and nap rendered wall to side and rear elevations; limestone tablet with inscription above main entrance. OPENINGS: Pointed tri-partite front elevation opening with moulded and block and start surround, roundel with rendered surrounds; pointed window openings with nap rendered block and start surrounds; limestone cills; timber sash windows; timber double door.
