Gallán is a leaning rectangular stone in Cork pasture, watching the Knoppoge valley from a north-facing slope. It tilts southwest like a tired sentinel, its long axis pointing east-west across the land. People may have set it there to mark a boundary, honour a dead person, or simply watch the river bend.

In pasture on N-facing slope with commanding view over Knoppoge river valley to N and E. Rectangular stone (H 1.3m; 0.6m x 0.22m) leaning heavily to SW; long axis ESE-WNW.
