What is recorded here

Gallan is a 2.7m rectangular standing stone in a County Cork schoolyard, aligned north-northeast to south-southwest. Children have probably run past it for generations, unaware that its tilt and shape mark older time. It stands where lessons are learned, as if teaching patience and patience teaching back.
