Gallán

In pasture, on ESE-facing slope. Stone (H 1.9m; 1.08m x 0.23m) is subrectangular in plan, long axis NE-SW. Likely dating to the Bronze Age, this standing stone may have had ritual or territorial significance. The name "Gallán" may derive from a early Christian saint, but the stone itself is probably prehistoric in origin.
