What is recorded here

Galláin was a pair of standing stones in County Cork, visible on maps until removal erased their surface trace. They stood together rather than alone, suggesting a doorway, boundary or marker for local life. Their absence does not diminish them; it sharpens the picture of two stones sharing one purpose.
