In pasture. Mound of burnt material (c. 27.7m NE-SW; 44.8m NW-SE) crossed by field fence extending NE-SW; field fence contains burnt material. On W side of fence mound is c. 0.25m high, lower on E side. Second fulacht fiadh (10317) c. 30m to E. Probably one of 19 fulachta fiadh (see 10318) recorded in townland by Bowman (1934, 493). The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 4: North Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2000).
