Holy well in Ballyhoolahan East stood without a stone surround in the north-east corner of a graveyard, yet no visible trace remains. Local information describes the lost water place beside burial ground, where people may have drawn refreshment, performed small rituals, or marked the boundary between the living and the dead. Its disappearance does not erase the shape of the practice; it withdraws the well from sight while leaving behind the memory that clean water once emerged where grief and devotion met.
