In marshy ground, adjacent to stream. Grass-covered horseshoe-shaped mound of burnt material (L 12m; Wth 12m; H 1m). Opening (Wth 6m) faces S; three stones set along internal face of E arm may be remains of revetment. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
