In rough grazing, on E side of drain and adjacent to spring. Oval mound of burnt material (18m NW-SE; 12m NE-SW; H 1.3m). Burnt material noted, exposed in field fence which runs parallel to drain. Second fulacht fiadh (10943) c. 100m to NW. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 4: North Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2000).
