In marshy ground. Horseshoe-shaped mound of burnt material (10m NW-SE; 8m NE-SW; H 0.6m); opening (Wth 2m) faces E. Recent drain bisects mound on E-W axis. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 4: North Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2000).
