Fulacht Fiadh is a horseshoe-shaped mound of burnt material in County Cork, Ireland, measuring 16.1 metres long and 15.9 metres wide. Its opening faces east towards a stream, where fire-blackened slabs still line the bank. People may have heated water there to cook food or clean tools, using the natural flow to refill the trough. A telegraph pole now stands in the ancient cooking area, marking how human purposes keep changing on the same ground.

In pasture, on W side of stream. Horseshoe-shaped mound of burnt material (L 16.1m; Wth 15.9m; H 1.1m). Opening to trough area (Wth 2.7m) faces E towards stream. Several fire-blackened slabs and stones on bank of stream, possibly displaced trough lining; telegraph pole erected in trough area.
