Fulacht fia in Mangerton

In rough hill pasture, on the SW-facing slope of Mangerton Mountain, overlooking the valley of the Owbaun River to the SW. A horseshoe-shaped mound (8.8m E-W; 7m N-S; H 0.8m) of burnt material which is denuded at SW. The opening (c. 3.3m NE-SW) faces a stream to the NW. Some gorse bushes grow on the grass-covered mound.
