In small coniferous plantation, c. 2m S of stone-lined well. Horseshoe-shaped mound of burnt material (14m E-W; 11m N-S; H 0.6m) planted with conifers; opening (Wth 4m) faces NNW. Recorded by Broker (1937, 17). The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 4: North Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2000).
