Fulacht fia in Knockardrahan

In pasture, adjacent to spring (now drained) and c. 30m N of stream. According to local information, burnt material noted here. No visible surface trace. Possibly one of two fulachta fiadh (see 11146) recorded by Bowman (1934, 323) on C. Smith's land. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
