Grass-covered, oval mound (18m SE-NW; 16m NE-SW; H 0.95m) in pasture on fairly steep NW-facing slope. Ground to WSW was boggy prior to being drained (according to local information). Mound ploughed c. 1969. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 1: West Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1992).
