Excavated in advance of construction of the N9/N10 Kilcullen-Waterford Road (Excavation Licence number E2575). A burnt spread (L 21.4m, Wth 19m D 1.2m) and five troughs and six pits were uncovered. Three of the troughs contained evidence for timber lining. The only find was a Bann flake which was interpreted as a stray find and not directly associated with the monument.
