Hot stones, boiling water, clean meat or clean thoughts. The mound still holds its shape because people kept returning to heat and transform.

In rough pasture, on a S-facing slope overlooking the valley of the Sheen River to the SW and W. A sod-covered pear-shaped mound (4.7m NNW-SSE; 3.6m WSW-ENE; H 0.58m) of burnt material, 5m E of a stream; the narrow end of the mound is to the NNW. A relict field boundary (KE093-097001-) is c. 50m to the NW and three cairns (KE093-097003-, KE093-097004-, KE093-097005-) lie c. 70m to the WSW, c. 70m to the SW and c. 60m to the SSW, respectively.
