Fulacht fia in Dernish Island is a fulacht fia in Dernish Island, County Sligo, Ireland. The low mound measures 6m north-south and 4m east-west, with a height of 0.2 to 0.3m at the east and 0.4m at the west. Angular stone fragments fill the sod-covered structure, which curves around a shallow hollow on its east side.

In rough, damp pasture, at the base of a W-facing slope on the SW side of Dernish Island, 8m WNW of a spring well/Holy well (SL002-019----). The shoreline is 10m to W, bordered by a vertical scarp (H 2m) which drops from the land to a stony shore. This fulacht fia is evident as a very low, poorly defined sod-covered mound (6m N−S; 4m E−W; H 0.2-0.3m at E, 0.4m at W) of angular stone fragments in dark grey/black soil. It appears to have a shallow crecentic shape, curving around a slight hollow (Wth c. 1-1.5m) on the E side. Its compact, firm surface distinguishes it from the surrounded soft, damp ground.
