In uncultivated ground, c. 30m NE of well. Partially overgrown, roughly kidney-shaped mound of burnt material (16.2m WNW-ESE; 13.2m NE-SW; H 1.05m); cut by drain on N side. Probably one of seven fulachta fiadh (see 10687) recorded in townland by Bowman (1934, 391). The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
