In pasture/grazing, located in damp ground at base of a slight SE-facing slope, and 2-3m to NW of a field drain and hedge-row which border the SE side of the field. A compact, grass-covered, horseshoe-shaped mound (10m NE–SW; 8.m NW–SE; H 0.7m), composed of angular stone fragments in black soil, with a hollow (Wth 2m) on the SE side of the mound indicating the likely location of the trough. Located 3m to NNE is a slight oblong rise (c. 6m E–W; 2-2.5m N–S) of uncertain significance. Compiled by: Jane O’Shaughnessy Date of upload: 22 April 2013
