Mullanaleck Bridge, otherwise known as The Four Masters Bridge, is a well-maintained stone bridge crossing the Drowes River. Located on the Donegal/Leitrim border, Mullanaleck Bridge is similar in style and construction to Lennox Bridge found further down river. A plaque dedicating the bridge to The Four Masters was erected on the parapet in 1975. It is documented that the Annals of the Four Masters, which records the history of Ireland down to AD1616, was compiled in a house by the Drowes River.
