What is recorded here

Killoughcarran Burial Ground is gone. What remains is a low south-facing slope in County Donegal, dressed in rough pasture and memory. Davies recorded an oval enclosure and a few headstones, but no trace survived. The dead may have been ordinary, named and forgotten. The grass keeps their shape longer than stone did.
