In low lying area in front of C of I parish church and thirteenth century abbey (LA022-019002-). An octagonal limestone font (D. c. 0.66m, Int. Dept. c. 0.2m) with central draining hole. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Laois' (Dublin Stationery Office, 1995) compiled by P. David Sweetman, Olive Alcock and Bernie Moran.
