A circular area enclosed by a very shallow fosse, with faint traces of an external bank (overall diam. c. 40m). A very distinct cropmark of a fosse is visible on aerial photographs (GSI N 340, 341), but these show no causeway or entrance feature. A Neolithic ringbarrow or flat-topped passage tomb; likely dates to the Early to Middle Neolithic period (c. 3700–3000 BCE). Its significance lies in its association with early funerary and ceremonial practices in the Irish lowlands.
