In rocky pasture, on a W-facing slope in the Bricklieve Mountains and adjacent to a cashel (SL040-082001-). A ruinous discontinuous sod-covered field boundary (Wth 1.4m; H 0.6m), of similar construction to the cashel wall, is evident on the N side of the cashel. A second more continuous field boundary (Wth 1.2m; H 0.5m) of limestone and sandstone is adjacent to the S side of the cashel. A passage tomb (SL040-097001-) and two short cists (SL040-097002-) lie c. 80m to E. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Sligo' compiled by Ursula Egan, Elizabeth Byrne, Mary Sleeman with Sheila Ronan and Connie Murphy (Dublin Stationery Office, 2005).
