What is recorded here
On poorly drained reclaimed grassland with two enclosures (LI024-205/207----) located on the W and S margin of the field system. The townland boundary with Derk is 500m to W. The field system is not depicted on the OSi historic maps. The S extent of the old field boundaries are visible on the OSi orthoimages taken 2005-12 and on the Digital Globe orthoimages taken 2011-2013. Identified as a relic field system by the Bruff aerial photographic survey (Bruff 14: AP 4/3625). The field system (ext. dims. c. 200m NE-SW; 150m NW-SE) appears largely to be comprised of drainage ditches. It is visible on Digital Google Earth orthoimage taken 18/11/2018.
