Towards the top of a N-facing slope with limestone outcrop. A grass and scrub-covered area of about 12 acres (c. 5 ha) has relict field walls defined by stone spreads (Wth c. 2m; H c. 0.5m) or earthen banks (Wth 1.5m; H 0.5m) forming subrectangular fields of c. 0.2 ha -1 ha. The fields are associated with lazy beds, a subrectangular enclosure (RO044-083005-) (int. dims 21m N-S; 10m E-W) and two house sites (RO044-083003-; RO044-083004-) (ext. dims 9m N-S; 5m E-W: 5m x 4m), and the field walls partly overlie cashel (RO044-083002-).
