Situated between the River Liffey to the S and the modern road to the N. Irregular fields defined by banks and fosses covering an area of 3 hectares (7.4 acres). Visible on aerial photographs (GSIAP, O 89-90). The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wicklow' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997).
