Field system in Erneen

In rough hill pasture, on a N-facing slope overlooking a river valley. The remains of both linear and curvilinear stone walls (T 0.6m; H 0.6m) occur intermittently in this area measuring c. 250m N-S x c. 250m E-W. Numerous gaps are visible in the walls. The surviving walls, which protrude above the surface of the bog, indicate fields of various shapes and sizes. Three enclosures (KE103-019002-, KE103-019003-, KE103-019007-) and three hut sites (KE103-019004-, KE103-019005-, KE103-019006-) are within the field system.
