In reclaimed wet pasture, immediately W of the Morningstar River that forms townland boundary with Elton and S of townland boundary with Stephenstown. Not marked on OSi historic maps. Associated with six possible barrows (LI040-106002/006-). Identified as a series of linear features and cultivation ridges running E-W which was tentatively classified as a possible field system during examination of Bórd Gáis Éireann gas pipeline aerial photographs (BGE 1/5,000, 2562) taken 03/11/1984. Linear cropmarks some of which are perpendicular to each other are visible on Digital Globe orthoimage taken between 2011-13 and on Google Earth orthoimages. The linear cropmarks may represent drainage ditches associated with land reclamation works at Knocktoran House.
