Field boundary in Gortlahard (glanarought By., Cappagh Ed)

In rough hill pasture, on a gentle W-facing slope, in the valley of the Sheen River. The remains of a curvilinear stone wall (T 0.5m; H 0.3m) protrude above the surface of a bog bank and run intermittently to the N for c. 25m. Rubble is embedded in bog beside the wall. There is a hut site (KE102-078009-) c. 70m to the NW. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry.
