Gortlahard holds a collapsed stone wall emerging from peat on a south-facing slope above the Sheen River valley. The boundary meanders thirty-five metres before vanishing beneath the bog, joining a second relict wall and a nearby wedge tomb. These markers suggest ancient fields shaped the slope long before the peat swallowed them.

In rough peaty pasture, on a S-facing slope overlooking the valley of the Sheen River to the SW. A collapsed field wall (T c. 0.5m) which protrudes (H c. 0.2m) above the surface of the bog. It emerges from the peat at the SE and meanders in a NW and then a N direction for c. 35m before disappearing beneath the bog. A second relict field boundary (KE093-093002-) is in the immediate vicinity to the NE and a wedge tomb (KE093-093001-) lies c. 60m to the E.
