Field boundary in Gortlahard (glanarought By., Cappagh Ed)

In rough hill pasture, on a gentle W-facing slope, in the valley of Sheen River. The remains of a stone wall (T 0.5m H 0.3m), which is situated between two rivers, protrude above the surface of the bog (D 0.5m) and curve to the N for c. 65m. There is an enclosure (KE102-078007-) c. 50m to the E and a hut site (KE102-078009-) c. 60 to the W. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry.
