Field boundary in Gortlahard (glanarought By., Cappagh Ed)

In rough hill pasture, on a S-facing slope, in the valley of Glashanaglaragh stream. The remains of a curvilinear stone wall (T 0.6m; H 0.4m) protrude above the surface of the bog and extend upslope from the N bank of a river for a distance of c. 70m, disappearing occasionally under the surface of the bog. Several upright stones, which are set at right angles to the line of the wall, were noted. There is a hut site (KE103-031001-) c. 15m to the N.
