Field boundary in Gortlahard (glanarought By., Cappagh Ed)

In rough hill pasture, on a gentle W-facing slope, overlooking the valley of the Sheen River. The remains of a curvilinear stone wall (T 0.5m; H 0.3m), which protrude above the surface of the bog (D 0.4m), extend (L c. 45m) to the S from a riverbank at N. There is a fulacht fia (KE102-078004-) c. 50m to the NW. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry.
