Field boundary in Gortlahard (glanarought By., Cappagh Ed)

In hill pasture, on a gentle W-facing slope, in the valley of the Sheen River. The remains of a curvilinear stone wall (T 0.5m; H 0.3m), which protrude above the surface of the bog (D 0.4m), extend to the E for 9m and then curve to the N for c. 25m. The wall runs on into bog at both ends. There is a fulacht fia (KE102-078004-) c. 60m to the ESE. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry.
