Field boundary in Gortlahard (glanarought By., Cappagh Ed)

In rough hill pasture, on a S-facing slope, in the valley of Glashanaglaragh stream. The remains of a collapsed stone wall (T 0.6m; H 0.4m), which protrude above the surface of the bog, extend upslope to the N from the riverbank for a distance of c. 40m where it abuts a hut site (KE103-029001-) and an enclosure (KE103-029002-). The wall continues to the N and then to the E for a distance of c. 40m. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry.
