Field boundary in Coorleagh

In rough hill pasture, on a N-facing slope in the valley of the Coomeelan stream. The remains of a curvilinear stone wall (T 0.7m; H 0.4m), which protrude above the surface of the bog, extend to the N for 10m. It is then visible intermittently at the bog-surface level for c. 40m. It then protrudes above the bog and meanders downslope to the W and NW for c. 75m. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry.
