Fetteresso Castle, North Lodge was part of the larger Fetteresso Castle estate, historically held by the Comyn family, powerful medieval lords in Scotland. The lodge is remembered as an element of a strategically significant stronghold associated with the Comyns, who played a key role in Scottish history, including the Wars of Independence.
